Raise Robotics creates robots to build the world’s physical infrastructure. Our first product is MetalMan, a mobile manipulator for automating physically demanding work on construction sites. We work with the largest contractors in the US and are supported by world-class investors.

We’re looking for people who enjoy challenges and want to make an impact. You’ll be working on cutting-edge robotics technology alongside a passionate and experienced team. You will also have the opportunity to travel to major metropolitan areas in the US for on-site deployments.

For this role, we are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer who will contribute to the mechanical designs of a mobile manipulator for construction applications.

What we’re looking for:

• At least 3 years of experience working in industry.
• Previous experience working with robotics or automation systems.
• Familiarity with standard CAD and mechanical simulation software.
• Strong understanding of electricity.
• Experience with manufacturing, CAM, and fabrication.
• Great hands-on prototyping and troubleshooting skills.
• Desire to work closely with others in a cross-functional and dynamic setting.

What you’ll do:

• Create CAD designs for mechatronic systems, integrating motors, sensors, and pneumatics.
• Make drawings for fabrications and place orders with suppliers.
• Physically prototype and test designs.
• Create test jigs and test fabricated designs.
• Work closely with other team members to align on requirements and provide information.
