Director of Project Finance

Location: San Francisco

Salary: $220,000 - $250,000 + Uncapped Bonus

Piper Maddox is partnered with an industry-leading distributed generation IPP as they hire for a Director of Project Finance to lead their finance team. Founded by two highly recognizable industry figures, this business has gone from strength to strength in a short period of time. With investment from a leading private equity group, this hire sparks an exciting growth period for the team.

What you will do:

• Own the financial models for a portfolio of renewable energy investments focusing on the distributed generation projects from initial feasibility through to financial closing.
• Develop existing and create new sponsor relationships to fund project pipeline (tax equity, debt financing, etc.).
• Oversee wider corporate development by utilizing relationships with customers and technology partners.

What you will have:

• 6+ years experience in project finance creating and developing financial models for solar projects.
• Experience building financing models providing insight into profitability, revenues, construction, and operational costs with a developer or financier.
• Track record of closing a variety of equity and debt transactions ideally connected directly to solar projects.
