Evity is developing an innovative knowledge and learning platform that will unlock exciting new possibilities in healthcare, especially around preventative health and equitable access to longer, healthy lives.

We seek a User Research expert to help shape our healthspan initiatives through deep user understanding. This role will be instrumental in informing our go-to-market strategy and product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with product management and engineering not just to surface findings, but forward those that make a meaningful difference and drive the greatest value
2. Connect the dots between research findings, product, and engineering to support building great products and driving revenue
3. Build and own the research roadmap
4. Conduct user interviews, surveys, and other research activities with healthcare providers and healthcare practitioners
5. Analyze research data to identify key insights, patterns, and user needs
6. Create clear, actionable research reports and presentations
7. Facilitate workshops with product and leadership teams to translate findings into strategic recommendations
8. Develop user personas and journey maps
9. Validate product concepts and features through user testing

Required Qualifications

1. Impactful, independent researcher who is committed to honesty in delivering insights
2. Experience in user research, preferably in healthcare, edtech, and/or B2B SaaS
3. Strong track record of conducting both qualitative and quantitative research
4. Experience with various research methodologies (interviews, surveys, usability testing)
5. Excellent analytical and synthesis skills
6. Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
7. Proven ability to influence product decisions through research insights
8. Ability to operate independently and with a sense of urgency
9. Demonstrates excellence by delivering iteratively with quick wins along the way, while driving to the larger initiative completion
10. Experience with design thinking product development frameworks
11. Expert at collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience in healthcare technology or preventive health
2. Familiarity with AI/ML products and their unique research challenges
3. Experience working with medical professionals and healthcare systems
4. Experience in education technology and learning management systems (LMS)
5. Experience in CME would be a major plus

Position Details

1. Bay Area preferred. Remote work with quarterly onsite collaboration, usually in the San Francisco Bay Area also possible
2. Flexible hours with core availability during US business hours
