Position Summary:

Our client is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead and deliver a portfolio of infrastructure projects. This role requires a results-driven professional with a solid background in IT infrastructure, exceptional project management skills, and a strong focus on people management. The Senior IT Project Manager will work collaboratively with internal teams, external service providers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution while minimizing organizational impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage infrastructure projects, including:
• Replacing end-of-life network equipment.
• Updating Windows Servers and VMware versions.
• Replacing storage containers (hardware and software focus).
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on critical tasks and priorities.
• Coordinate efforts with other PMs managing concurrent infrastructure initiatives.
• Ensure minimal impact on operational plants during project implementation.
• Work closely with service providers, including Cisco and Accenture, to plan and schedule projects.
• Partner with technical teams to assess, procure, and implement network and server infrastructure.
• Collaborate with application teams for testing and upgrades related to server migrations.

Technical Understanding:

• Maintain a working knowledge of networking technologies (Cisco and Fortinet preferred).
• Manage server-related tasks, particularly on Dell hardware and Windows Servers hosted in Azure Cloud.
• Assist in planning and implementing VMware updates and migrations.
• Conduct basic financial forecasting for project budgets, differentiating between CAPEX and OPEX.
• Allocate 10–20% of time to forecasting and scheduling and 5–10% to financial management.

Tools and Reporting:

• Utilize project management tools such as Planview and MS Project to create schedules, track progress, and generate reports.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and maintain project documentation.

Leadership and Communication:

• Demonstrate exceptional people skills, fostering positive relationships across teams.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Lead meetings to align stakeholders on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
