We're looking for a leader in our Data Engineering team to work closely with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Software Engineers to support product launches and roadmaps by building the data architecture that informs and drives insight. In this role, you'll see a direct link between your work, company growth, and user satisfaction.

You'll work with some of the brightest minds in the industry, work with one of the richest data sets in the world, use cutting-edge technology, and see your efforts affect products and people on a regular basis.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and scale BI teams effectively.
2. Drive efficiency and speed through strong operational skills.
3. Initiate and manage projects with effective communication and leadership.
4. Develop and maintain data architecture.
5. Utilize SQL or similar languages for data management.
6. Develop in at least one object-oriented language (Python, Java, etc.).
7. Work with data sets, Hadoop, and data visualization tools.

Qualifications:

1. 8+ years of experience in BI and Data Warehousing.
2. Experience scaling and managing teams of 3+ persons.
3. BA/BS in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or other technical fields.
4. Experience in a consumer web or mobile company.
5. Advanced degree preferred.
