Title: Search Search Relevance – Software Engineer II (Full Stack)

The Search Relevance team is responsible for the search quality and customizations for our developers building their search experiences. We make sure that every query yields relevant and reliable results in a reasonable time.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Building product enhancements for search components with contributions to Elasticsearch and Kibana.
• Collaborating with and mentoring teammates in a mostly text-based, asynchronous, remote-first team environment.
• Hands-on involvement with the team and codebase, reviewing work and providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborating on features, breaking them down into technical deliverables.

What You Will Bring:

• Experience building software using modern programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, Kotlin, etc.
• Openness to learn new languages and technologies.
• Experience with JavaScript-based front-end web application frameworks.
• Excellent practical judgment and prioritization skills.
• Measured and articulate written and spoken communication skills.
• An interest in learning new tools, languages, workflows, and philosophies.
