Summary
As a CE Solution Architect, you will participate and effectively contribute to the design, architecture, and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. You will provide technical expertise and systems design for individual initiatives, working with other SME consultants from our existing team. The CE Solution Architect keeps up to date with industry best practices related to solutions, code, security, algorithms, architecture, and environments assigned. You may assist with hiring and training programs and provide team leadership and guidance, but you are not tasked with overall managerial duties such as hiring, transferring, or terminating employees. Additionally, you may train people in technical skills, both internally and externally.
Essential Job Functions
Application Architecture:
Perform all duties related to the application architecture life cycle including, but not limited to, determining requirements, coding/building, unit testing, and implementation. Standard D365 Online architecture forms, fields, views, dashboards, workflows, plugins, etc.
Writing Code:
Writing custom .NET code, plugin code, etc. for high volume contact centers built on the Dynamics platform.
Development & Maintenance:
Develop an easy-to-use Dynamics Web Portal for customer self-service, including the ability for capturing real-time payments from customers. SOAP and REST APIs to integrate with 3rd party SAS applications.
Enhancements:
Develop ChatBOT experiences available on the Azure platform for online customers, using Azure BOT framework to automate business processes. Power Automate and MS Flows.
Employment Decisions:
Participate as an advisor in hiring activities, such as conducting recruitment, attending interviews, and providing recommendations for hiring decisions.

Deep and broad technical understanding backed by substantial industry experience, especially relevant to projects in Microsoft Dynamics AX and/or Dynamics 365: Finance / Operations / Supply Chain Management / Talent.

Able to envision generic, reusable solutions to specific problems. Ability to think creatively, source unique solutions, and coach others to do the same.
Problem Solving:
Balances the client-specified need for speedy delivery with best practices and solutions. Must know when to favor practicality, performance, simplicity, and usability over complexity and robustness.

Ability to provide accurate estimates and advise on technical risks related to project timelines and deliverables. Can organize and structure tasks to meet business objectives.
Adaptability:
Ability to tackle new challenges with limited background knowledge or training; knows how to find answers to highly technical questions and can explain technical concepts in plain language. Can communicate with multiple levels of a typical organization, including professional technical staff, middle management, and executive management.
Travel Requirements:
This position may be required to travel up to 25% and may have opportunities to travel if desired in relation to certain sales, demos, implementation, purchasing, training, or other company activities.
Physical Demands:
This position has moderate physical demands typical of office work with occasional corporate travel. This may include some extended periods of sitting, standing, and/or occasional need to lift heavy objects weighing 30 lbs.

Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma
- 3-5 years developing enterprise custom objects in at least one of the areas/environments below, or any combination below:
- Dynamics 365 Online Customer Engagement (CE)
- Microsoft Azure platform
- Microsoft Power Platform and Common Data Service
- Integration APIs, Logic Apps, Power Automate
- Extensive experience designing and developing technical solutions for Dynamics 365 Finance, including customizations, migrations, and integrations.
Education and Experience:
Microsoft Certifications are strongly preferred.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Deep knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem is preferred, as demonstrated by successful project experience, training, and certification.
