RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide data engineering expertise to develop, test, and maintain data pipelines and data architectures.
- Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
- Create data ingestion, cleansing, and transformation scripts, algorithms, and processes.
- Develop tuning and debugging of stored procedures, functions, and packages.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Active Secret clearance
- At least five years’ experience performing data analytics, data engineering, databases, data visualization, coding, and familiarization with general purpose analytic tools and technologies.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics or related disciplines.
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our team in Suffolk, VA.
The Department of the Navy, Naval Supply Systems Command, Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, has a requirement for Technical and Program Support for the NAVIFOR N6 Directorate. The Navy requires the highest level of Navy enterprise management and technical support in the areas of: Emergent/future technology modernization; Data analytics/management/science; Application development; performance planning/improvements; Cybersecurity readiness; Assessment and Authorizations (A&A); IT portfolio management; NMCI/ONE-Net readiness, sustainment, and convergence; Domain IT service delivery; IT Service Management; Shore transformation/integration; and headquarters IT support.
