Responsibilities:

• Work on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of a given program and perform all functional duties identified independently.
• Oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
• Develop and implement a set of techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming and visualization software.
• Apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets.
• Visualize, interpret, and report data findings.
• Create dynamic data reports.
• Conduct software integration or testing, including analyzing and implementing test plans and scripts.
• Utilize frequent scripting languages, such as Python and R, and use commonly associated packages.

Qualifications Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or a closely related field;
• OR an Associate's Degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or a closely related field WITH 4 years additional relevant experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant focused experience.

Relevant industry Certifications such as:

• CompTIA Cloud Essentials/Microsoft Technical Associate (MTA)/Certificate of Cloud Security (CCSK)
• CompTIA A+
• CompTIA Security+
• EMC Data Science Associate (EMCDSA)/Cloudera Certified Data Scientist (CCDH)
• Certified Apache Hadoop Developer
• Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD)
• Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD)
• Microsoft Certified Solution Expert (MCSE)/Private Cloud/Certified

Experience and Skills:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent critical thinking skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Ability to learn and apply technical concepts to assigned duties.
• Experience with frequent scripting languages, such as Python and R, and using packages commonly used in data science applications or advanced analytics.
• Experience with data science, data mining, statistics, or graph algorithms to support analytics objectives.
• Experience applying Structured Query (SQL) and Non-Structured Query (NoSQL).
• Experience in Application Program Interface (API) Building, Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) pipelines, Web Application Servers, or Search Index.
• Experience using programming and products such as Python, Jupyter Notebook, Pandas, Numpy, Requests, or Antigravity.
• Experience applying complex mathematical and statistical concepts.
• Experience applying statistical and operations research methods and tools.
