Brief Job Description: The Operational Excellence Specialist for CLIENT provides technical and project support, belt mentoring, and project support as required to CLIENT Lean Six Sigma initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical leadership and support, mentoring, and project support as required to help support CLIENT’s Lean Six Sigma initiatives.
2. Support strategic initiatives.
3. Assist in developing project selection/stewardship and training activities.
4. Work with the Management Team in the development and execution of OE projects.
5. Identify and achieve significant process/quality improvements through the OE initiatives.
6. Employ a hands-on teamwork approach to problems, planning, and people associated with all aspects of the initiatives.
7. Develop technical solutions to complex problems requiring ingenuity and creativity.
8. Apply principles of logical, scientific thinking and continuous improvement concepts to a wide range of practical problems.
9. Work is performed without appreciable direction and exercises considerable latitude in the technical objectives of assignments.
10. Provide guidance to customer, corporate, and site teams/management based on organizational goals.
11. Assess and provide options to management for process decisions that significantly impact the organization.
12. Guide the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role.
13. Represent the organization as the prime technical contact on programs and projects.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Six Sigma Green Belt certification required.
2. Minimum of 4-6 years or more work experience as part of an operational excellence team required.
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, effective presentation skills, and high competency with computer systems.
4. Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology preferred.
