Title: Mental Health Facility Administrator

Role Description: Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Administrator directs and coordinates all aspects of the center’s overall program, including Program Services, Nursing Services, Administrative Department, Human Resources, Social Services, Therapeutic Recreation, and community relations. The Administrator ensures compliance with established policies and procedures of the overall program and timely completion of respective reporting requirements. The Administrator is also responsible for the maintenance of Quality Improvement activities to ensure compliance with current licensing and accrediting policies and regulations. In addition, the Administrator supports all disciplines in the development of a marketing strategy and efforts to network with existing potential referral sources.

Position Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, RN, or a field related to mental health.
  • A minimum of five years in a clinical setting, at least one of which must have been in a mental health setting, and two or more years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Regulatory experience and knowledge of CARF standards and crisis stabilization criteria.
  • Experience in working with health care and mental health regulatory agencies.

About the Campus: Mental Health Rehabilitation Centers (MHRCs) provide psychosocial rehabilitation programs in secure, residential settings with a focus on brief lengths of stay. Over the past decade, we have developed specialized support programs for the many clients at our facility who speak Vietnamese or Spanish as a first language. These clients participate in classes and activities in their native languages, allowing them to thrive on their road to recovery. The Crestwood Center San Jose Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF) on our San Jose campus is in close proximity to the mental health support services in Santa Clara County. The San Jose PHF provides a spacious environment, with two living rooms, a welcoming room, visiting space, serenity room, dining room and a beautiful courtyard. The program is dedicated to restoring a sense of hope, self-empowerment and recovery in each of our clients.

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay per hour at the time of posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to candidate's skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity.

Pay Range: $130,000 - $165,000 USD
