Job Description: ThreatKey’s remote-first engineering team is growing and looking for talented Software Engineers with a security mindset. Our team builds and maintains robust customer solutions that provide unparalleled cloud network visibility while protecting customer data. As a Software Engineer, you should be comfortable around back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for software design and utility.

You will:

• Build scalable systems and services to support ThreatKey’s product offerings.
• Write clean, functional code on the back-end.
• Test and fix bugs or security vulnerabilities.
• Provide security expertise and threat analysis around product design and construction.
• Consistently generate simple and elegant designs, and write high-quality code that scales with a growing number of users, features, business requirements, and partners.

Qualifications:

You have:

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer.
• Familiarity with Python Django and Golang.
• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. Python, Go, and others).
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. RDS, Postgres).
• Experience with RESTful API integrations.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other Cloud vendors is a plus.
• Experience with developing components within containers (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker) is a plus.
• Great attention to detail.
• Organizational skills.
• An analytical mind.
• Low Ego: You have the humility and self-awareness to understand and navigate the unknown.
