What You’ll Do
- Analyze grid operations and market trends to support trading decisions
- Develop forecasting models for energy price movements and congestion risks
- Utilize power system modeling tools to assess grid stability and constraints
- Identify trading opportunities through data analysis and event monitoring
- Ensure regulatory compliance for market participation across multiple ISOs
What You Bring
- Experience 3-5 years in power systems engineering, market analysis, or energy trading
- Skills Data analytics, forecasting, statistical modeling, and power system simulations
- Knowledge Nodal electricity markets (CAISO, ERCOT, PJM, MISO, etc.) & LMP pricing
- Tools Familiarity with Python, MATLAB, R, SQL, AND PowerWorld and or SimAuto
- Education Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field
