About the Company:

We are a rapidly growing healthcare organization operating multiple assisted living and homecare entities. As we continue to expand, we need a visionary CFO who can streamline financial operations, optimize efficiency, and lead our finance team with strategic oversight.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on CFO with a CPA license and 5-10 years of experience who can bring structure, implement best practices, and optimize processes. The CFO will report directly to the CEO/Owner and will oversee the Controller, Payroll, AP, and AR teams .

This is a leadership role requiring someone who is smart, detail-oriented, and highly strategic , with a proven track record in financial operations, process improvement, and team management . The ideal candidate will not only manage the numbers but also design the financial framework that supports our continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Strategy & Efficiency: Evaluate existing financial systems and structure to improve efficiency and accountability .
  2. Process Optimization: Streamline AP & AR workflows , ensuring financial transparency across multiple entities.
  3. Team Leadership: Oversee the Controller, Payroll, AP, and AR teams , implementing better structure and accountability.
  4. Software & Systems: Identify and implement better financial software solutions to improve operational effectiveness.
  5. Banking & External Relations: Serve as the primary financial liaison with banks, CPA and external partners.
  6. Growth & Scalability: Support the company’s expansion by creating a financial structure that aligns with future growth.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • CPA license (Required)
  • 5-10 years of experience in a finance leadership role
  • Strong people skills – able to manage teams and interact with external stakeholders
  • Excellent time management & attention to detail
  • Experience supervising finance teams (including outsourced teams)
  • Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset
