Title: Aerospace & Defense MD Investment Banking

Salary: $275,000 – $300,000 + Bonus

Location: New York, NY (REMOTE)

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the Investment Banking and Advisory teams
• Originate deals and client engagements
• Focus on Business Development, originate Aerospace and Defense M&A deals
• Generate and qualify new prospecting leads to bring on deals
• Conduct research, stay up to date on the Industrials market trends and M&A activity
• Create and maintain a book of business in the middle market ($100mn-$500mn)
• Supervise Financial Models and Transaction material
• Industry focus – Aerospace & Defense Investment Banking

Requirements:

• BA/BS with a major in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field
• 7-15 years of combined work experience in Investment Banking, M&A Advisory and/or Corporate Development (preferred sector expertise in Government Services and A&D), ideally over 10 years of mid markets experience and at least 8 years of overall Industrials Investment Banking experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal, communications, listening skills and business acumen
• Able to work on multiple projects at once
• Be a leader in the Industrials group
• Book of business, generating north of ~$5mn or so per year
• Strong drive and work ethic to get things done
• Experience in building and leading teams
• Relevant Investment Banking licenses – Series 79, Series 63, Series 7
