Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately looking for a Database Developer with Production Support.

Position type: Full-time, Contract
Duration: 12 months (with high possibilities of extension)
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid 3 days onsite 2 days remote)

Description:

• Work closely with business partners to develop requirements, record and document the design and work closely with the Tech/Business product owners, architecture team for direction.
• Discussions with information architecture team for coming out with design solutions, proposing new technology adoption ideas, attending project meetings, partnering with near shore and offshore teammates in a matrix environment, coordinating with other teams.
• Participate in key development activities in GWBARS team of our GTS Data Technology platform.
• Hands-on design and ETL development in Data Warehouse environment.
• Work on multiple projects concurrently, take ownership & pride in the work done by them, attending project meetings, understanding requirements, designing solutions, developing code.
• Partnering with near shore and offshore teammates in a matrix environment, coordinating with other support teams like L2, development, testing, up/down stream partners, etc.
• Work with the Business Analysts to understand the requirements work on high level & detailed design to address the real time issues in production.
• Work with Information Architecture team for proposing technical solutions to business problems.
• Identify gaps in technology and propose viable solutions.
• Take accountability of the technical deliveries from offshore.
• Solid understanding of Data Warehousing and Dimensional Data Modeling concepts.
• Work with the development teams and QA during the post code development phase.
• Identify improvement areas within the application and work with the respective teams to implement the same.
• Ensuring adherence to defined process & quality standards, best practices, high quality levels in all deliverables.
• Adhere to teams governing principles and policies.

• Expert knowledge in Oracle/Exadata.
• Expert knowledge Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
• ETL Processing concepts.
• Experience in handling large data volume and Performance Tuning.

Desired Skills:

• Good understanding of the E2E process of the application.
• Good understanding of all aspects of the application like upstream, database model, data processing and data distribution layers.
• Payments or Banking background.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to team environment.
• Experience working in Agile or Waterfall methodology and understanding of various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Proficient in Unix Shell Scripting and Autosys.

The ideal candidate will have: Exadata, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, Autosys, ETL, UNIX.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: <$60-$65 per hour>
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
