A prestigious San Francisco law firm is seeking a Corporate Legal Assistant to support a growing private equity practice group . This is an exceptional opportunity to work directly with partners and high-profile clients , playing a key role in transactional and compliance matters .
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, revise, and proofread corporate and transactional documents (contracts, agreements, compliance, closing documents, audit letters, etc.).
- Assist with pre-closing document preparation and execution for various transactions.
- Work closely with private equity clients , acting as an integral member of the practice group.
- Manage filings and e-filings with the Secretary of State and various federal, state, and local courts.
- Organize and maintain client and administrative files in the firm’s document management system.
- Coordinate scheduling, travel, meeting arrangements, and attorney calendar management .
- Handle billing, conflict checks, and engagement letters .
- Monitor case deadlines in coordination with the Docket Department.
- Provide high-level administrative and client service support .
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a corporate legal assistant (private equity experience preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and PDF software .
- Experience with Intapp Time, Intapp Open, Chrome River, Aderant, Interaction, iManage (a plus).
- Exceptional communication, organization, and multitasking skills .
- Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and in a collaborative team environment .
