Recruitment Consultant - Financial Technology
The ideal individual will be proficient in Java, as most of their tech is built in that language. Additionally, they will have the ability to work in a dynamic environment, specifically focusing on backend, full stack, or data engineering work. This person should have the ability to collaborate with other engineers and contribute to all phases of the software development life cycle from design through post deployment maintenance and enhancement. This role offers high visibility into the business side of a leading investment bank and provides lots of opportunity for growth as the firm continues to expand and gain market share. The firm is placing a high priority on these roles, and are therefore looking to extend offers as soon as mid-March.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain high performing technology to be leveraged by business leaders across the firm.
- Enhance and scale existing technology currently being used across the front, middle, and back office teams.
- Collaborate with other engineers, analysts, and internal teams to understand requirements and develop enterprise-wide applications, tools, and systems tech.
- Certain responsibilities can vary depending on experience level and skillset.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of industry experience (title will vary depending on years of experience)
- Knowledge of financial markets and the wider banking industry
- Ability to manage deadlines and adjust quickly to meet specific requirements or expectations
- Strong proficiency in Java
- Ability to work in a hybrid function
