In this role, you will work with a portfolio of Portuguese payroll clients based all over the world from 1 to 2000 employees.
Manage the assigned client portfolio, complying with the deadlines agreed in each process and ensuring optimum quality in the results delivered.
Ensure legal compliance, in accordance with current regulations, in all processes carried out and proactively seek improvements that can ensure greater quality or efficiency in the service.
Participate in internal projects assigned by the company to implement new tools or processes.

Ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time, compliance and documentation, process improvements, receiving updates on tax laws, benefit plans, and deductions, and staying updated on labor laws, tax regulations, and payroll best practices are essential. What you’ll do:
- Client service management, specific requirements, requests relating to the service management process, as well as legal aspects.
- Resolution and management of incidents arising from the service.
- Conduct regular meetings with the clients in charge: agreeing and updating the payroll calendar and daily processes agreed with the client.
- Review and prepare data relating to administrative processes for payroll processing (perform functional tests on the platform).
- Process the client's payroll and perform the necessary controls defined by the department to ensure the quality of the process and service to the client.
- Manage the client's rental period.
- Carry out and send periodic reports related to the payroll process (IRS, social security files, payroll accounting reconciliation, etc.).

A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job.
Other acceptable experiences could include:
- 2-4 years of experience in a similar position.
- Knowledge of Portuguese labor law.
- Knowledge of payroll and HR software and applications.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel.
- More than 1000 payrolls processed.
- Knowledge of DMR / Social Security.
- Processing of new hires and terminations.
