Talascend is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Business Partner in the Engineering Services Industry for a contract opportunity in Chantilly, VA.


Job Description: The Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for the full lifecycle of recruiting, focusing on identifying, attracting, and hiring top engineering talent to meet our organizational goals. This role involves collaborating closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, developing effective recruitment strategies, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience from sourcing to onboarding.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage the entire recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates to fulfill staffing requirements.
  2. Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers to comprehend specific staffing needs and timelines, ensuring alignment throughout the recruitment process.
  3. Sourcing Strategies: Develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates, utilizing various platforms such as job boards, social media, and professional networks.
  4. Pipeline Development: Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates to ensure a strong talent pipeline for current and future needs.
  5. Reporting: Maintain comprehensive staffing trackers, prepare ad hoc reports, and support leadership with relevant recruitment metrics.
  6. Compliance: Conduct reference checks and other pre-employment screening activities to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably within the engineering services industry.
  2. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  3. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  4. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities effectively.
  5. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze recruitment metrics and data to drive informed decision-making.
