Job Title: AI Software Engineer
Location: Hybrid weekly onsite in Aliso Viejo, CA (candidates should already be local to SoCal)
Job Type: Temp-to-hire
Compensation: $60.00 to 80.50 per hour W2 (based on experience)

Job Overview:

  • Partnered with a client who is seeking a skilled and motivated AI Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI models and algorithms that will power their products. As part of the dynamic team, you will work on a variety of exciting AI-related projects, including machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and predictive analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain AI/ML models for a wide range of applications.
  • Design and build scalable, efficient, and reusable code for AI systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver AI solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Conduct research to identify new algorithms, tools, and techniques to improve AI systems.
  • Train, test, and fine-tune machine learning models to optimize performance.
  • Evaluate and analyze AI models' effectiveness, making improvements as necessary.
  • Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and best practices to maintain high-quality software.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in AI/ML technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in AI/ML software development, data analysis, and model deployment.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or Java (Python is preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or similar.
  • In-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, and statistical methods.
  • Experience with data processing, data cleaning, and working with large datasets.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for deploying AI solutions is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or reinforcement learning.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
  • Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
