What will your role be?

As an IT Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in preparing detailed Business Requirement documents, specification documents, technical guides, and training/support documentation for multiple projects. You will drive Business Requirement gathering/Application Design sessions, conduct interviews, and research to gather essential information. Using this data, you will develop comprehensive documentation on business requirements, feature specifications, and provide ongoing operational and support details for the assigned technical applications, equipment, solutions, and services.

Activities:

• Act as the primary point of contact between IT and business stakeholders
• Define and refine high-level business requirements and scope in the Project Initiation Form
• Work with Domain and Project teams to support timely, quality, and cost-effective project delivery
• Document detailed business requirements, objectives, and scope in BRDs, specifications, and process flows for application development
• Analyze and simplify complex requirements to capture true business needs
• Assist business stakeholders in developing Business Cases
• Ensure continuous alignment of business requirements, business case, and solutions throughout the project
• Represent business needs using high-level Functional Architecture diagrams (process flows, actor interactions, data flows, and interfaces)
• Identify and address gaps between current functional architecture and solution needs in Project Planning
• Support new application deployment and training, including equipment setup and document creation
• Facilitate communication between business and developers during design and development sessions
• Organize awareness, training, and demonstrations to foster knowledge sharing
• Contribute to the development of best practices for requirements management in IT Product Development

What skills and qualifications are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related fields preferred
• 2-5 years of experience with strong knowledge of business models, Information Systems, and IT technologies and concepts
• Proven expertise in Solution Design, Development, and Deployment
• Extensive experience in business analysis, functional design, and business case development
• Deep understanding of one or more of the following business domains: Engineering, Manufacturing, Customer Services, Finance, HR, Legal, etc.
• Skilled at identifying errors in analysis, design, and development
• Proficient in using modeling techniques to document and validate functional requirements
• Experienced in applying validation and verification methods to ensure business requirements are accurate
• Ability to write clear, concise, and complete requirements
• Strong soft skills, including presentation, synthesis, and interpersonal communication
• Technical expertise in Requirements Development Framework, GSuite, Visio, and Project Management tools
• Experience with digital solutions and collaboration tools for remote/hybrid teams
• Familiar with Agile Project Management methodology and Agile Architecture Framework
• Proficient in Business Process Mapping (As-Is vs. To-Be)
• Experience with functional architecture diagrams
