Your Impact:

The Director of Enterprise Sales is responsible for leading a team of Account Executives in our Enterprise market segment, focusing on driving sales with businesses and organizations outside of the public safety sector. This is a team quota-carrying role on a “startup" within the organization where we’ll move fast, win our earliest customers, and build repeatable sales motions.

Your leadership will have a direct impact on the growth of the Axon Enterprise team, the development of your team, and our success in crushing revenue goals. Leading by example, you’ll be a champion of our Operating Principles and foster a collaborative, transparent, inclusive sales environment.

We are looking for intelligent people who want to do remarkable things. We strive to create an environment where people can succeed and enjoy coming to work every day.

Location: Remote with 33%+ Travel

What You’ll Do:

  • Hire and develop a team of experienced Account Executives
  • Consistently deliver against team revenue goals
  • Assist your team throughout their strategic sales cycles by deeply understanding customer needs and mapping them to the value of Axon Enterprise in navigating, closing, and expanding accounts
  • Partner with Axon Enterprise leadership to further define a successful and repeatable sales process
  • Understand the challenges facing the team and clear the way to allow for success
  • Regularly report on team and individual results through pipeline management and forecasting
  • Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency, and productivity

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience managing high-performing software sales teams (preferably for a SaaS company)
  • Successful track record of 100%+ of quota achievement as a manager and individual contributor in strategic sales
  • Previous experience recruiting, retaining, and developing a team from the ground up
  • High level of business acumen and understanding of how revenue leaders think
  • Previous experience selling into Executive leadership (C and VP level)
  • Territory management and development experience
  • Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interface with a wide variety of people and roles
  • Technically savvy, good problem-solving and analytical skills, and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities, multitask, and work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate concisely
  • Able and willing to travel 33%+
  • Growth mindset
  • Startup experience

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary and 401K with employer match
  • Uncapped commissions
  • Discretionary PTO
  • Autonomy in your role
  • A supportive parental leave policy
  • An award-winning office/working environment
  • And more...

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
