The Digital Energy Division is part of Energy Management Business. Digital Energy is spearheading the digitalization of power management and is a pioneer in the Buildings of the future. Digital Energy is a 3bn /2.000HC business built on 3 Lines of Businesses (Digital Power, Digital Buildings, Microgrid) as well transversal technology teams (EcoStruxure Power), CS&Q, Quality and commercial and segment organizations to drive go to market and business growth.

The Digital Buildings Line of Business (LOB) is at the heart of our mission to bring efficiency and sustainability inside and outside the building. Buildings consume about 30% of the world’s energy and account for almost 40% of annual global greenhouse gas emissions. The future of building construction and operations, both new and retrofit, is where the world will win or lose the fight against climate change.

We believe electrification and digitization are the keys to a more sustainable and resilient future. Our vision is to become the leader in NetZero Buildings by helping to reduce the 40% of CO2 emissions attributed to buildings all over the world through smart buildings management systems based on connected products, software, and digital services. We target innovation for building-centric customer segments in Healthcare, Hotels, Real Estate, Retail, and Design Firms and beyond.

With the Decarbonization Office team we support this vision by delivering a framework and solutions across the Digital Energy division to reduce customers’ Scope 2 emissions (SE’s Scope 3 & 4) through electrifying operations, reducing energy use, replacing carbon-intensive energy sources, and engaging their whole value chain so they can measure and achieve their NetZero ambitions.

As a transversal function and relevant to the scope of this HRBP role, the Customer Satisfaction & Quality team ensures the deployment of quality fundamentals in the Digital Energy Division around the design for product, software, and with a particular focus on our system with ESXP to reinforce the quality culture.

On the Role

We are now opening the role of the Global Senior HRBP to support these three highlighted global key organizations in Digital Energy: The Digital Buildings LOB, the Decarbonization Office, as well as the Customer Satisfaction & Quality Team from Feb 2025.

Position location: Andover / Boston

Travel : Occasional business travels (10%)

Reporting: Digital Energy Business HR VP

Working with: Business Leaders & all employees in scope, Digital Energy, Energy Management, and Schneider Electric Global HR network

Management : transversal management, no direct report

Key responsibilities:

As part of the Global HR team, you will be accountable for driving the human capital agenda for key teams in Digital Energy: (1) Digital Buildings Line of Business /450HC, (2) Decarbonization Office, (3) CS&Q Team /40HC. You will be called upon to strategically partner with respective (Senior) Vice President Business Leaders accountable for these scopes and their teams to develop and execute people strategy and organization interventions. You will play the role of coach and advisor to the leaders on the people and business strategy. This role will also support the HR integration of key acquisitions for the Line of business, R&D footprint transformation, the evolution of our agile work model for the organization, as well as the continuous progress of our people transformation and footprint.

With our R&D Hub in Andover playing a key role as a powerhouse for R&D and Innovation for our Digital Building Business, this HR role will also play an important part in community management and forming ONE Digital Energy spirit and team in NAM across our different lines of business.

Specific challenges and focus for this HR scope include the strong management of our workforce diversity ambition, the evolution of our agile work model, as well as the creation of a strong R&D community and ONE Digital Energy spirit in NAM and globally.

Professional background: an international open-minded profile, with already proven HR BP international experience ideally with proven track in supporting R&D teams

Education: HR Master or Business school or social law background

Languages: Must be proficient in English

Profile:

  • Min. 8 years of HRBP experience in an international environment (international experience preferred), strong potential for growth
  • Experience in driving/supporting organizational transformations and M&A
  • Knowledge of Digital Energy business / Digital/Software and Systems Business Models is an advantage
  • Strong drive, energy, and ability to achieve in a transversal international environment
