ON SITE: Currently the majority of the role is remote; however, the candidate may be requested to come into the office “as needed” and will need to pick up any equipment IN PERSON if selected for the role. Local Richmond candidates preferred.

We are seeking a SharePoint Developer to migrate the agency's existing Drupal Intranet site into a SharePoint site. The developer will also help to identify SharePoint governance processes for the agency.

Position Details:

This position is up to 12 months with the option of extension. The client is located in Richmond, VA.

Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience:

• Hands-on and recent SharePoint development experience - Required: 7 Years
• Strong verbal and written communication skills - Required: 7 Years
• Experience with Drupal 7 - Highly desired: 1 Year

Responsibilities:

• Migrate the existing agency Drupal Intranet site over to a SharePoint site.
• Work with agency IT and Business stakeholders to determine existing features/functions which need to be migrated.
• Develop a roadmap plan for the migration/development of the new SharePoint site.
• Identify and document the architecture of the new site.
• Migrate or develop functionality of the new intranet site.
• Work with Division content owners and mentor them on how to manage their own content.

SharePoint Governance:

Assist the agency in developing and documenting SharePoint governance processes for other SharePoint sites across the agency.
