Overview

We are currently seeking an IT Operations Vulnerability Management Engineer.

Responsibilities

1. Investigate new and emerging security vulnerabilities from various resources.
2. Research implications of security vulnerabilities.
3. Investigate the best method to apply security changes to remediate vulnerabilities for applications, network devices, servers, and desktops.
4. Work independently or collaborate with other departments to provide vulnerability solutions within the organization to remediate identified risks.
5. Build automated security standards for IT Operations and Development teams.
6. Design and configure vulnerability management solutions on various technologies and platforms.
7. Manage security and operations related projects providing regularly scheduled status updates.
8. Create threat, risk and vulnerability assessments including notifications within current product line.
9. Build vulnerability reporting and dashboards for management and support teams.
10. Maintain security posture through constant security scanning and validations.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 5 years work experience utilizing Patch Management solutions for Microsoft, Linux, and 3rd party products such as Adobe, Java and Apache using Microsoft Configuration Management, Intune, Ansible, or Ivanti (Endpoint Mgr., Neurons, Security Controls).
2. Minimum 5 years work experience using scripting languages (Bash, Python, Ruby, PowerShell).
3. Minimum 3 years work experience with API, Swagger & Oauth.
4. Minimum of 5 years work experience with Vulnerability Assessment tools: Nessus, Qualys, Arctic Wolf, Nexpose, Metasploit, Kali Linux.
5. Minimum of 3 years work experience with cloud and container platforms with emphasis on security (Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible).
6. Minimum 5 years work experience using API, SQL, PostGres in conjunction with data visualization tools to provide interactive reports.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $85,000.00/Yr. - USD $120,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
