Mid-Level Fortinet Engineer – Remote (Houston or San Antonio)

Are you a Fortinet expert looking for a role that will give you significant exposure to Fortinet’s suite of products? This client is hiring a Mid-Level Fortinet Engineer to join our growing team, with a preference for candidates in Houston or San Antonio (with client travel). This role is primarily remote with occasional on-site visits to customers in a 2-3 hour radius (fully reimbursed).

What You’ll Do:

• Implement Fortinet solutions, including FortiNAC, FortiAP, FortiGate, and Fortinet SD-WAN (FortiAnalyzer and FortiManager are a plus).
• Work with pre-designed network architectures and handle hands-on installation and configuration .
• Engage with clients and support networking needs across a growing Houston presence.
• Some potential exposure to Arista projects in the future.
• Travel occasionally to San Antonio or Houston for onboarding and collaboration with the team.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong Fortinet experience, ideally owning implementations rather than just assisting.
• Moderate Cisco experience (CCNA level), with Meraki being a plus.
• Ability to work autonomously and be a Fortinet SME in Houston as the first Engineer in the area.
• Any background is welcome – we’re looking for strong hands-on Fortinet expertise .
• Bonus: $13K - $15K (based on company performance).
• Travel expenses fully covered for client visits.
