KE-ADL is looking for an Architect for their Honolulu office .

Responsibilities

• Serve as Architectural Consultant.
• Conduct multi-family residential/commercial remediation investigations.
• Investigate/assess damages due to catastrophes or normal environmental conditions (storm damage, hurricanes, floods, marine environment).
• Research technical publications and literature in support of evaluations.
• Apply architectural principles and practices in accordance with codes and industry standards.
• Prepare Architectural reports stating cause and extent of damage to clients.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Write proposals.
• Write scopes of repair.
• Communicate project updates and timelines to staff and clients.
• Travel locally and nationally on occasion.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
• 5 years of architectural experience (10 or more years preferred).
• Registered Architect license in Hawaii.
• Experience with premises and walking surface investigations, including product defects.
• Ability to inspect homes, roofs, and crawlspaces.
• Working knowledge of building structures and the construction process.
• Experience writing technical reports.
• Project management experience.
