Our client is a prestigious, global investment firm / hedge-fund that has been a leader in the industry for 20+ years. With a HQ in Greenwich, Connecticut, this firm has over 500 employees and manages more than $150B for various institutional investors. They are seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to enhance and maintain their data warehouse and analytics platform that provides critical data to the business.

Data Analytics Engineer

Location:

Office in Greenwich, CT (50min commute from Grand Central). This is a hybrid role, with an onsite requirement 3x per week and remote 2x per week.

Required Technology and Skills:

1. 5+ years of professional experience across data analytics, data engineering, data warehouse, and reporting/business intelligence
2. Strong skills with SQL & Talend
3. Experience building data visualizations with Tableau
4. Experience working in AWS environment
5. Background in SSIS
6. Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with the business & C-level executives for requirements gathering and to discuss data insights
7. Experience/ability to work in a small team where you can wear many hats in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
8. Experience with data governance

Additional Skills:

1. Degree in IT, Computer Science, Data, or STEM related field
2. Experience working in financial services or working with financial/investment data
3. Team player
4. Highly technical, motivated and eager to grow your skills and have a big impact working close to the business

Salary Range:

130,000 – 150,000 base salary, plus $25,000 – $40,000 annual cash bonus (Total cash compensation $175,000 – $190,000). Compensation will be based on experience, level, and skills.
