Job Title: Epic ASAP Analyst

Location: Dallas, TX 75207

Job Type: Fulltime Permanent


Position Summary:

Serves as Team Lead and/or Project Manager for small to medium projects owned by Epic ASAP Applications. This position supports the planning, design, development, and build of supported applications/systems; leads and/or coordinates system testing and documentation of system procedures; participates and provides input in training design and development and assists in training execution related to assigned projects; provides go-live support and serves as primary point of contact for ongoing production maintenance/support and troubleshooting. Participates in on-call/after-hours support schedule as defined within the team.


Experience:

  1. A minimum of 2 years' experience supporting (analysis, build, and testing) Epic ASAP applications, required

Licenses & Certifications:

  1. Epic ASAP certification or proficiency, required

Education:

  1. Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  1. Understanding of operational emergency department workflows
  2. Knowledge of best practices and how focus area integrates with others; demonstrates awareness of the industry, including regulatory, evolving customer demands, and the factors that differentiate the organization in the market
  3. May lead projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
  4. Solves problems and incorporates new perspectives on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
  5. Ability to interact effectively with peers, management, hospital staff, vendors, and other customers
  6. Effective organization skills and attention to detail; effective follow-through, and commitment to excellence
  7. Ability to hear and communicate with others in a clear, understandable, and professional manner. Demonstrated use of good written and verbal communication skills
  8. Excellent time management skills
  9. Ability to work after hours when required
  10. Strong analytical and multi-tasking skills
  11. Experience participating in system installation projects including design, build, testing, and support
  12. Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), Visio and Project application knowledge
