Description

The Data Analyst will play a critical role in supporting budget forecasting, financial reporting, and data validation processes. This position ensures data integrity, accuracy, and strategic alignment by leveraging analysis tools.

Job Duties:

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budget forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Perform data validation checks to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and check-run processes.
  • Generate, distribute, and maintain reports and dashboards to inform stakeholders and facilitate decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to receive feedback and ensure reports reflect current business needs.
  • Conduct audits and ensure the integrity of master data across the organization.
  • Identify opportunities for improving financial processes and workflows.
  • Assist in building and supporting Business Intelligence tools, such as Power BI, for organization-wide reporting capabilities.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data analytics, financial analysis, or business analysis.
  • Strong background in financial modeling and reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas).
  • Understanding of budget forecasting and financial modeling.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) and data query languages (e.g., SQL, SOQL) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is beneficial, but not required.
  • Knowledge of reporting functions within accounting software preferred but not required.
