This position will own all daily activities of the accounting department, report to the Controller, and will have frequent direct interaction with the CFO and other executive management team members.
Responsibilities:
- Own all aspects of the daily activities of the Accounting department.
- Own month end close and reporting for all balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Monitor and analyze company processes and make recommendations for improvement.
- Enforce new and existing policies while educating the company on their importance.
- Primary contact for external audit and various tax reporting.
- Manage and complete multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
- Assist in any area important to the development of the company.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA preferred.
- Minimum 5-8 years experience in public and corporate accounting.
- Prior ownership of monthly close and reporting process.
- High level of integrity, positive ‘can do’ attitude, and strong work ethic.
- Excellent problem identification and resolution ability.
- Operational experience in SaaS and/or On-Prem Software companies is preferred.
This role will consider applicants out of San Francisco, CA. The annual cash compensation range for this position is US $120,000 to US $180,000. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills.
