We are seeking a Senior SCCM/MECM Packager to manage the full lifecycle of application packaging and deployment within our enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM), MSI packaging, scripting, and automation. This role involves collaborating with IT teams, ensuring smooth software distribution, and troubleshooting deployment issues.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Application Packaging & Deployment:
   • Package, customize, and deploy applications using MECM/SCCM, PowerShell, and MSI technologies.
   • Create, test, and distribute MSI, MST, and App-V packages for enterprise-wide deployment.
   • Configure detection methods, dependencies, and user experience settings for deployments.
2. Software Updates & Patch Management:
   • Deploy Windows Updates, security patches, and third-party application updates via SCCM/MECM.
   • Maintain compliance with corporate security policies and patching schedules.
3. Automation & Scripting:
   • Develop PowerShell scripts to automate application packaging, installation, and remediation tasks.
   • Enhance efficiency through scripting and process automation.
4. Troubleshooting & Support:
   • Diagnose and resolve deployment failures, application conflicts, and SCCM/MECM infrastructure issues.
   • Work closely with Help Desk, Desktop Support, and IT teams to resolve packaging and deployment issues.
5. Documentation & Compliance:
   • Maintain detailed documentation of application packages, deployment processes, and troubleshooting steps.
   • Ensure compliance with ITIL best practices and enterprise security policies.

Required Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of experience in SCCM/MECM administration and application packaging.
2. Expertise in MSI, MST, App-V, and Intune packaging.
3. Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and deployment.
4. Experience with Windows 10/11, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
5. Familiarity with software compatibility testing and deployment best practices.
6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
7. Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with Azure Intune and Modern Endpoint Management.
2. Knowledge of Windows Autopilot and Co-Management.
3. Familiarity with MacOS packaging (a plus).
4. IT certifications (e.g., Microsoft Endpoint Manager, ITIL, or SCCM/MECM certifications).
