Job Summary The Site Reliability Engineer is a full-stack developer and individual contributor on an Agile team, responsible for maintaining and supporting production applications. Focused on reliability, performance, and automation, they reduce toil by streamlining operations, improving system resilience, and enhancing monitoring and incident response.
Job Role And Responsibilities - Ensure system reliability - getting systems back to steady-state as quickly as possible.
- Automate wherever possible - reduce toil.
- Configure monitoring and logging of systems in order to obtain better visibility.
- Help design processes that automatically evaluate system SLA.
- Be proactive, identify and remediate issues before SLAs are violated.
- Drive better cross-team collaboration - work with Product development team, DevOps group and Operations.
- Debug applications to find root cause of the issues.
Job Skills Requirement - 4+ years progressive software systems programming experience, at least 2 of which should involve experience utilizing Python (Flask, FastAPI, Django, etc).
- Must have experience using Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, etc) for developer productivity, including code generation, debugging assistance, and documentation generation.
- Problem solving & analytics skills.
- Courage to learn new programming languages and technologies.
- SQL & NoSQL Databases (SQL Server, MongoDB, etc).
- Experience in utilizing Cloud services and best practices in deploying and maintaining applications in Cloud (Azure/AWS/OCI).
- Containers, Kubernetes, Docker. CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in dealing with monitoring tools such as App Dynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana.
- Computer related Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent work experience in software development.

Compensation The salary range for this position is $115K to $125K. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
