Job Description

As a part-time Retail Brand Ambassador at Branch, you'll play a key role in supporting our very first retail store in the Jackson Square neighbourhood of San Francisco. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys customer interaction and wants to represent one of the fastest growing furniture brands in the country.

In this role, you'll help create positive customer experiences and contribute to the store's daily operations. You'll work alongside the management team to understand and promote Branch's vision while assisting in meeting store goals. As a Retail Brand Ambassador, you'll represent Branch during your shifts, embodying our brand values and helping customers find solutions that meet their needs. You'll work collaboratively with other team members in a supportive environment, focusing on providing excellent service and supporting sales efforts while developing your retail skills.

Position Qualifications (You Have):

  • Minimum Age: Must be at least 18 years old to align with company standards.
  • Experience: A background in retail, hospitality or high-touch client-facing roles, demonstrating expertise in premium customer service, brand representation, and building relationships with discerning clients.
  • Product Expertise: Develop and maintain expert-level understanding of our products and processes including our tools and systems.
  • Availability: Flexible and adaptable to meet business needs, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, showcasing a commitment to operational excellence. Minimum 16 hrs required.
  • Physical Requirements: Maintain an active presence on the sales floor, with energy and focus while standing, walking, using ladders, and lifting up to 30 pounds to meet business demands and deliver an elevated customer experience.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s):

  • Sales Performance: Drive results by focusing on conversion rates (CRV), Units Per Transaction (UPT), Average Unit Retail (AUR), and return clients.
  • Excel in customer retention by delivering personalized experiences, leveraging effective networking, and maintaining exceptional lasting relationships and loyalty.
  • Task Management: Demonstrate efficiency and reliability in completing tasks accurately and on time.

Pay Range:

  • $19-21/Hr
  • Base pay is one part of the total rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses and incentives.
  • Base pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, and competencies. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
