Akkodis is currently seeking a Senior Backend Developer for a client in Atlanta, GA. This is a direct hire role with a large and successful financial services company.

Salary range: $140-200K depending on experience

Responsibilities:

1. Write reliable, high quality, performant, maintainable code.
2. Contribute to all areas of company stack, from ingesting data from 3rd parties to data processing pipelines, to domain services to external facing APIs.
3. Collaborate daily with a small team of passionate engineers.
4. Conduct timely code and PR reviews.
5. Collaborate daily with Product leadership and other stakeholders to assure that requirements are met, and issues are handled in a timely manner.
6. Create cutting-edge software solutions for prioritizing customer care as a core element of the role.

Qualifications:

1. Must have 3+ years of Go programming experience.
2. Know how to deploy and operate in Kubernetes.
3. Experience designing, developing, and optimizing backend systems with a focus on low-latency data processing.
4. Understand large datasets, low latency moving data through a pipeline, data quality, and the different ways of moving data (binary, JSON, Parquet, etc.).
5. Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, APIs.
6. Experience with Kafka.
7. Telephony, streaming, or messaging background.
