About the team

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is developing a Platform business, building a platforms propositions allowing our customers to integrate multiple end point solutions into complex workflows that allows holistic and efficient risk management. This business includes the RiskNarrative and Dynamic Decision Platform propositions.

About the role

Lead the definition and implementation of the new Platform proposition, ensuring its commercial success. Ideal candidate is located in EST.

Responsibilities

  1. Firm up the Platforms vision for LNRS, working with stakeholders across Product, Data/Content, Sales, Marketing and Market Planning to create a single integrated commercial proposition and roadmap.
  2. Identify priority countries / sectors and provide actionable guidance on target customers / buyer personas, utilise this insight to inform product design and roadmap prioritisation.
  3. Own the strategy for this new business line, using insights into market developments and customer needs to craft a strategy that balances long term vision with short term commercial acceleration.
  4. Drive new initiatives through the GTM process and lead closely with Sales to drive commercial acceleration activities. Assist, when appropriate, on significant new business opportunities.
  5. Participate in and create thought leadership activities and tasks including blog posts, customer events, conferences, and tradeshows including internal LNRS meetings with Sales and Senior LNRS Leadership.
  6. Leverage an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of the organisation's and competitors' products and/or services to ensure that we can bring our most appropriate services to market.
  7. Act as an integral part of the senior leadership of the Platforms Market Planning team.

Requirements

  1. Requires a BS or equivalent educational achievement – MBA preferred.
  2. Requires a minimum of 10 years related technical and professional experience. Previous experience of platform businesses strongly preferred. Experience of Fraud, Financial Crime and Risk management preferred.
  3. Experience of bringing complex new propositions to market, with strong skillsets around proposition market fit, geographical/segment strategies, pricing strategies and commercial support models.
  4. Skills required include business acumen, strategic planning, organizational assessment, creativity, highly developed leadership and interpersonal skills, quantitative analytical abilities and outstanding communication skills. The ability to work effectively within a cross functional organization.

Position is eligible for base salary plus an annual bonus.

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for Maryland: $161200 - 299500 USD.

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for Washington DC: $176600 - 327900 USD.

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for New York and New Jersey: $168900 - 313700 USD.
