What you will be doing:

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting local territory efforts to promote and sell ASSA ABLOY electromechanical (EM) and electronic access control (EAC) products and solutions in a team selling environment. You will be the territory’s “go-to” expert competent in the applications, technology, installation, and deployment of all ASSA ABLOY EM and EAC product/system/solution offerings.

Key areas you will contribute to in the role include:

  • Certify integrators’ sales, installation, and support capabilities through formal hands-on product training.
  • Train and support the channel, influencers, and other internal personnel.
  • Facilitate deployments of product test beds at certified integrator’s facilities and trial installations at select end user locations.
  • Collaborate and develop plans for increasing sales in the assigned territory.
  • Conduct site surveys and audits with integrators, and check on implemented solutions.
  • Troubleshoot EM and EAC product-related issues.

What we are looking for:

  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are excited about selling a full range of door opening solutions.
  • You are detail-oriented, organized, and known for follow-up habits.
  • You’re a strong communicator and active listener.
  • You can work independently but believe in teamwork.
  • You have the ability to read and understand specifications/facility standards.
  • Ability to travel and meet customer requirements.
  • You can lift/carry up to 50 lbs. of sample and display material for sale presentations.

Education and/or experience:

  • Your background includes a College/University degree in related curricula or have work experience commensurate with a minimum high school/GED diploma.
  • Minimum of 2 – 3 years of industry-related experience in field sales with EM/EAC products and systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools for sales and activity reporting.

Salary Range: 110k - 115k. This position includes a competitive benefits package, bonus, and a company car.
