ABOUT THE ROLE

Willow Bridge Property Company is seeking a Manager Cyber Security & Compliance to join our group of dynamic and innovative technologists. This role is crucial to ensuring our company meets and maintains PCI, and NIST compliance and adheres to customer contractual requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing compliance with regulatory requirements, enhancing our security posture, and managing potential risks across the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of compliance frameworks, information security protocols, and risk management within the property industry.

The Manager Cyber Security & Compliance role will report to the Vice President Infrastructure & Cyber Security and will be a key member of our Cyber Security team. If you are a technology professional driven by detail and systems thinking, this is an opportunity to be considered.

Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs to ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  2. Monitor changes in legislation and regulatory environments, providing guidance and updates to senior management.
  3. Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate compliance effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Manage compliance investigations, action plans and oversee compliance training.
  5. Serve as the main point-of-contact for company compliance.
  6. Lead and manage the PCI audit process, ensuring all necessary documentation and controls are in place.
  7. Develop and implement security policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and sensitive information.
  8. Implement and maintain technology surrounding security and compliance, including WAFs, VPNs, SAST, and DAST. Collaborate with IT, engineering, HR, and other departments to ensure cyber security measures are integrated into regular business project planning.
  9. Oversee incident response planning and coordinate responses to security breaches or vulnerabilities.
  10. Identify, assess, and prioritize risks across the organization, developing risk mitigation strategies.
  11. Facilitate risk assessments and develop reports to communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
  12. Foster a risk-aware culture by providing training and resources to employees on risk management best practices.
  13. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and risk management initiatives align with business objectives.
  14. Prepare and present regular reports on compliance, security, and risk management activities to the executive team and board of directors.
  15. Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors. Respond to requests from external auditors for security audit questionnaires. Perform new vendor security reviews as requested.
  16. Provide training and guidance to staff on security and compliance best practices.
  17. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor’s degree from a college or university with a major in Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.
  2. Preferred certifications include: MS cybersecurity architect Expert, CMMC Assessor (CCA), CMMC Professional (CCP).

PROFESSIONAL / TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

  1. Minimum 5 years of relevant professional industry experience in PCI management is required.
  2. Experience with property management and single-family housing environment/industry is a plus.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS & ABILITIES

  1. Highly effective written and verbal communication skills are required.
  2. Strong customer service focus and detail-oriented individual.
  3. Ability to work independently or as a team member.
  4. Self-disciplined, self-starter, professional who can successfully bring projects to closure with minimum direction, guidance, and oversight.
  5. Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly while achieving a high level of proficiency.
  6. Solid technical background with an ability to give instructions to a non-technical audience.
  7. Plan, organize, and coordinate work to meet deadlines and accommodate rapidly changing priorities.

LOCATION & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Permanent, full-time position based out of our Dallas, TX technology support center.
  2. Flexible Hybrid work environment, role works partly at our Dallas technology support center and partly remote.
  3. The primary workplace is an office environment, with standard office equipment.
  4. Standing, walking, twisting, and bending body mobility required to access a standard office environment.
  5. Ability to lift 40 pounds.
  6. Required travel is less than 10%.
