Sterling Medical is seeking experienced Phlebotomists (PB) for the VA Maine Healthcare System in Greenville, SC and Columbia, SC.

Providing Phlebotomy services at the Department of Veterans Affairs P&LM Greenville outpatient clinic (GOPC), Greenville, South Carolina, and Columbia VA Healthcare System (CVAHCS), Columbia, South Carolina

HOURS OF PERFORMANCE : Between the hours of 7:30 and 3:30 Monday-Friday, excluding federal holiday at the Greenville Outpatient Clinic and 7 days a week multiple shifts including federal holidays at CVAHCS (DORN VAMC).

Providers must possess the following qualifications: Must possess two years of experience as a Phlebotomist OR a national or state certification as a Phlebotomist

Successful completion of (a) a full-time training course of approximately a year's duration in a medical or clinical laboratory assistant (or technician) school that included instruction in chemistry, hematology, blood banking, and microbiology (including serology) and that, in addition, included supervised laboratory practice incident to the diagnostic process and the treatment of patients; or (b) 1 year of study that included at least 6 semester hours in chemistry and/or biological science.
