Overview
The Salesforce Developer will be part of a team responsible for building and managing multiple enterprise Salesforce applications as well as maintaining the current implementation as per the technology roadmap laid out. These applications will interface with home-grown LegalZoom applications, data services as well as third-party applications.
You will
- Participate in all phases of software development life cycle including functional analysis development of technical requirements, POC build, coding, testing, deployment and support.
- Develop high quality and scalable applications with Salesforce Lightning and using Lightning Web Components.
- Review existing code, troubleshoot, break fixes and identify code changes in Salesforce Lightning and Apex back end code.
- Integrate RESTful APIs between Salesforce and external systems.
- Apply best practices and design patterns for developing top-tier applications on the Force.com platform.
- Maintain clear communication of progress and status reports, demonstrating a commitment to excellence, high standards, and teamwork.
- Provide technical leadership, establish best practices for integration, application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement.
- Proactively identify opportunities to leverage SFDC for process improvement and productivity, and offer recommendations to support rapid organizational growth.
- Define, communicate, and manage a change management (release) process for implementing new and updated applications/code.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or a related field.
- Salesforce.com Developer certification.
- 3-4 years’ hands-on coding experience with the Salesforce platform.
- 2+ years’ experience with Salesforce Lightning.
- Experience with Salesforce.com integration using REST-based Web Service APIs, the Bulk API, and the Metadata API.
- Experience working with existing code, troubleshooting, and implementing code fixes.
- Knowledge of Force.com development best practices and design patterns.
- Solid understanding of and detailed experience with Salesforce.com architecture and API.
- Detailed experience writing Visualforce and Apex classes and triggers.
- Demonstrated success with multiple Salesforce.com integration projects.
- Experience integrating Salesforce.com with other applications via real-time, batch, sync/async.
- Experience with scripted data loader, web services, cloud or on-premise middleware, and other enterprise integrating technologies.
- Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering and creating/deploying solutions to end users.
- Experience with Force.com application packaging and deployment.
- Technical project management experience.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
LegalZoom is a remote-first company and the national range for this role is 104,300 - 166,900. Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to: geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs. In addition, an annual bonus, incentive bonus and/or restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
