Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead in the creation, support, and maintenance of centrally developed applications.
2. Lead, create, design, develop, and deploy information technology applications.
3. Re-write programs vital that were developed using an obsolete programming language ensuring continuity of manufacturing business operations.
4. Work with production workers on the manufacturing shop floor and upper-level management to produce quality information technology solutions.
5. Maintain current applications, break/fixes, and enhancements.
6. Develop Digital Moonshine applications, dashboards, reports, etc.

Requirements:

1. Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken word.
2. Must be articulate - able to report risks in context and advise on possible solutions utilizing available business resources.
3. Desirable experience in Visual Basic 6, VB.NET, C#.NET, MS Office Visual Basic for Applications, SQL, Stored Procedures for MySQL/MSSQL.
4. Experience in Oracle Database, MySQL, MSSQL, Access DB.
5. Experience in a manufacturing environment.
6. Possess a strong team orientation.
7. Knowledgeable of and experienced using VB.NET in a client/server environment interacting with various database platforms.

Deliverables:

1. Rewrite existing programs to .NET and over 70+ VB programs running on Job Server.
2. Convert Access DB to MySQL.
