As a key member of the meat team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain a fresh and appealing display by checking product quality, rotating stock, and removing out-of-date items.
Ensure back stock is well-organized and easily accessible.
Participate in sampling programs to promote products and engage with customers.
Clean and sanitize all equipment, floors, and surfaces as required.
Provide excellent customer service, address customer needs promptly, and model suggestive selling techniques.
Maximize sales potential through effective merchandising and inventory management.
FOLLOW established procedures for Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment, adhering to WFM cleanliness and safety standards.
Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned, ensuring accuracy of signs and pricing.
Report any safety hazards or violations immediately.
Develop skills to perform additional Team Member job responsibilities as needed.

No prior retail experience required. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
- Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
- Work requires bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
- Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
- Exposure to temperatures: <32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators), >90 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
- Ability to handle knives and other cutting equipment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
