Summary
Systems & Applications Design is an interdisciplinary field of engineering that works with cross-functional teams of other engineers, customers, supply chain, and project leadership to ensure robust and high-quality product development. The ideal candidate will coordinate and develop solutions in areas such as engineering services, requirements engineering, reliability, logistics, and testing necessary for successful system design and development.
Detailed Description
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for complex projects, specifically related to battery storage and energy generation systems.
- Oversee the design, integration, and deployment of energy charging systems across multiple projects.
- Foster strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Analyze trade-offs in complex systems and recommend solutions.
- Lead the deployment of strategic technologies/programs and coordinate global deployment efforts.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, and sales teams to develop innovative solutions that align with market demands.
- Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive operational improvements and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members.
- Prepare and present project reports and technical documentation to stakeholders.
- Set yearly plans and goals for the department and provide regular performance evaluations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience in developing services & solutions for major OEMs, with expertise in battery storage and energy generation systems.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and certification requirements relevant to energy systems.
- Exceptional program and project management skills; PMP certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical expertise in systems architecture and engineering design principles.
Salary Range
The salary range described in this posting is an estimate by the Company, and may change based on several factors. Salary Range: $120k-$165k Annually
Physical Demands
- Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
- Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration.
- Repetitive manual movements are frequently required.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Typical Experience
Minimum 11-14 years of relevant experience in the energy market, with specific expertise in battery storage and energy generation systems.
Typical Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field); Master's degree preferred.
