Summary

Celestica is a global leader in design, manufacturing, and supply chain solutions, specializing in advanced technologies for a diverse range of industries, including energy, Health Tech, and aerospace & defense. We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager for Systems/Application Design in the energy market, focusing on battery storage, energy generation systems, and balance of plant (BOP) subsystems.

Detailed Description

  1. Lead the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for complex projects, specifically related to battery storage, energy generation systems, and BOP subsystems.
  2. Oversee the design, integration, and deployment of energy charging systems for various applications across multiple projects.
  3. Foster strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  4. Analyze trade-offs in complex systems and recommend solutions. Develop deployment strategies and plans.
  5. Lead the deployment of strategic technologies/programs and coordinate global deployment efforts.
  6. Collaborate with engineering, product management, business development, and sales teams to develop innovative solutions.
  7. Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  8. Develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive operational improvements and enhance customer satisfaction.
  9. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  10. Prepare and present project reports, updates, and technical documentation to stakeholders.
  11. Set yearly plans and goals for the department, providing regular performance evaluations and ongoing feedback.

Typical Experience

• Minimum 11-14 years of relevant experience in the energy market, with specific expertise in battery storage, energy generation systems, and BOP subsystems.

Typical Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field); Master's degree preferred.

Salary Range

The salary range described in this posting is an estimate by the Company, and may change based on several factors. Salary Range: $120k-$165k Annually

Physical Demands

Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment. Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on detailed data.
