Job Summary:
We are excited to announce the opportunity for an Implementation Engineer to join our growing global team! Reporting to the Global Implementation Manager, the role will focus on leading newly onboarded clients through the entire implementation process, from project kick-off to a smooth handover for ongoing support.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical skill set to effectively understand and address the unique needs of clients operating in diverse technology environments. Key attributes for success include the ability to quickly learn and solve problems independently, coupled with strong collaboration skills to work closely with client IT administrators and stakeholders to resolve queries and provide expert guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead kick-off meetings to initiate the implementation process
- Collect and organize customer information to support the deployment of Rubrik and other backup solutions
- Coordinate the assembly and shipment of appliances to customer sites
- Configure and deploy on-premises appliances to meet customer specifications
- Collaborate with customers and OEMs to diagnose and resolve any installation-related issues
- Conduct steady-state transition meetings to ensure a smooth handover to support teams
- Develop and maintain comprehensive customer documentation and contribute to knowledge base resources
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to perform effectively in high-pressure or critical situations
- Extensive experience with enterprise backup and recovery systems, such as Rubrik, Veritas NetBackup, Commvault, or Veeam (highly advantageous)
- Proficiency in Spanish (highly desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in network configurations, including IP addressing, DNS, and VPN setup
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies, such as VMware, Nutanix, or Hyper-V (preferred)
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with end-users across all organizational levels
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates/Bachelors in Systems Administration or equivalent work experience or technical certifications
