Job Description

Munro Footwear Group (MFG) TA Team are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team for a 15 month Parental Leave contract.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the recruitment efforts for our National Retail Stores and our Distribution Centre, ensuring a seamless and efficient recruitment process for our candidates and hiring managers.

More about the role

• Providing end-to-end recruitment assistance and support
• Understanding the ongoing hiring needs of the business and establishing the right sourcing mix to generate a strong pool of talent for open and upcoming roles
• Complete pre-employment checks including reference checks, Police checks and confirmation of working rights
• Act as a point of contact for recruitment-related enquiries and managing vacancy requests
• Recommend recruitment strategy to achieve an appropriate and high-quality candidate pool
• Liaise and build relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders to assess ongoing recruitment requirements
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the recruitment function

About you

• Minimum of 2 years relevant recruitment experience within a fast-paced Retail environment
• Strong aptitude to influence, and motivate to achieve positive outcomes
• Excellent prioritisation and ability to manage a high-volume workload
• Thrive on providing an exceptional candidate & hiring manager experience within a Retail environment
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to consult, negotiate and influence with MFG stakeholders
• Business improvement focused and a driver of performance
• Professional approach when dealing with sensitive and confidential information
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
