We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Automation/Controls Manager to join our manufacturing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead a team of engineers in the design, development, and implementation of automated systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Allen Bradley, Rockwell, management, programming, HMI, and PLC systems. This role requires an individual who is not only technically proficient but also possesses strong leadership skills and the ability to manage complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of automation systems in accordance with company standards and industry best practices.
• Lead a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and support as necessary.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation systems.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity through automation.
• Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation systems.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
• Provide training and support to team members and other staff on automation systems.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in automation technology and incorporate new techniques and tools as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Ability to mentor team members.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation/control systems.
• Proficient in Allen Bradley, Rockwell, and PLC systems.
• Strong programming skills, with experience in HMI.
• Proven experience in managing a team of engineers.
• Must be able to do 20% travel.
