Schedule: Hybrid, 1st shift
8:30am - 5:00pm (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office; Monday and Friday work from home)
Pay: $18/hr.
Essential Tasks:
Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) by resolving or escalating non-conformities, managing open orders, and supporting supplier bookings. Oversee carrier bookings and ensure accurate export documentation and data integrity. Provide exceptional customer service by monitoring shipment status, addressing incidents, and proactively communicating delays. Manage daily workflows, meet service level agreements, and maintain timely email and report follow-ups. Collaborate closely with customers and escalate issues to supervisors when needed. Handle additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in export shipping, supplier management, supply chain management, documentation checking, and compliance; ocean export experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills for resolving issues related to product movement out of the US.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and reliable transportation required.
