The role:

WiseLayer is looking for a Senior Front End Engineer to lead the application development for our next AI-driven accounting agents. You’ll blend your passion for design thinking and efficient code with collaborativeness across the stack into shaping next generation AI-driven solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implementation leadership: Oversee the design and hands-on development of our existing and newest AI agents and applications, from conception to launch.
• Develop for scale: Build applications with a focus on testability and scalability, particularly in enabling UI automation.
• Collaboration: Partner with our entire engineering, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless development and market fit.
• Build for the future: Evaluate and implement new design principles and emerging front-end technologies to keep WiseLayer at the cutting edge.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Front End Software Engineer or a similar role.
• Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced, in-person-first environment.
• Communication: Clear, concise communicator with a strong sense of ownership.

Location:

As this role requires extensive cross-functional collaboration with our entire engineering team, we require candidates who can join us at our New York City offices 4 days a week (Mon-Thurs in-office, Fri remote).
